This is an industry standard among all center management software and does not put your clients’ private health information (PHI) at risk. Per our contractual agreement, Next Level will not use individual client or donor information in any way outside the normative parameters of data entry and management. Neither Next Level nor any subsidiaries or parent organizations will contact your donors or clients at any time for any purpose, without your express, written consent. All statistics and data analysis stemming from your client and donor data will first be redacted for the protection and privacy of your clients, donors and organization.

Connecting a Kodak Digital Camera using USB or Serial Port
The following section shows you how to connect a Kodak camera using a USB and a Serial Port.
KODAK DC240/DC280 Zoom Digital Camera Using a Serial Cable Connection
The most common means of connecting the camera to your computer is by serial cable connection. When connecting the camera, it is a good idea to use an AC adapter specified by Kodak.
Connecting to a Windows Computer
An RS-232 serial cable is provided so you can connect your camera to a Windows computer.

1.Set the Mode dial to Connect.
2.Plug the appropriate end of the serial cable into an available 9-pin serial port on the computer.
Serial ports are usually labeled COM1 and COM2, or A and B. If your computer has a 25-pin port, you need to use a 9-pin adapter (available at your local computer store) and attach it to the port before attaching the serial cable to the computer.
If the ports are not labeled, see your computer User's Guide for a diagram that illustrates all of the external ports.
3.Open the serial/USB port door on the side of the camera.
4.Plug the other end of the serial cable into the camera serial port.

5.Slide the POWER switch to the right to turn on the camera.

Using a USB Cable Connection
If you have a personal computer and are running Windows 98, or a Macintosh computer, you may be able to connect the camera using a Universal Serial Bus connection. The USB interface provides an easy and faster alternative to serial cable connection. However, since USB connections are relatively new, Kodak only recommends and supports using the camera with the systems listed above. When connecting the camera, it is a good idea to use an AC adapter specified by Kodak.
